CreativeRace partners with Leeds Arts Uni for VMC design brief
Following the success of this year’s Visual Media Conference (VMC), CreativeRace have announced that they will be continuing their branding and design support for 2022. This time, the Leeds-based integrated agency has also chosen to partner with Leeds Arts University in their bid to bring new creative initiatives into higher education.
In 2021, the VMC attracted a plethora of national and international speakers and visitors, bringing digital, print and business supplies industries together to delve into trends, technology and innovations with particular focus on sustainability.
Tim Donald, Executive Creative Director for CreativeRace, will be working with Course Leaders of Leeds Arts University to set a competitive design brief which will see students given the opportunity to create the branding for next year’s conference. The successful student will then be given the opportunity to work with his creative team in the CreativeRace studio to help bring their proposals to life.
Tim, an alumni of Leeds Arts University himself, comments:
“We’re delighted to be able to provide a platform for up and coming creatives with this project, and enable them to have their work seen in such a prominent way. The talent coming through Leeds Arts University is always of such a high standard, so I’m excited to see where they take it.”
Andrew Craske, Head of Marketing and Communications for Leeds Arts University adds:
“Industry engagement is central to all our courses so this will be a brilliant opportunity for our students to work with a leading agency such as CreativeRace to brand such a high profile and engaging conference, putting their ideas and work in front of national and international audiences.”
