Digital PR/Outreach Specialist

We are on the hunt for an energetic Digital PR specialist to join our SEO team.

Reporting to our Head of Outreach, your main responsibility will be to assist will all aspects of our DPR campaigns from ideation to reporting, with a particular focus on ensuring that our PR campaigns secure relevant coverage on high profile websites.

The opportunity

We are looking for a hard-worker who is motivated to get results and solution-focussed. Someone with a strategic mindset who will be completely supported in a friendly environment but also knows how to make sure we are getting the best possible results for our campaigns.

You will be expected to actively contribute to brainstorm and deliver agreed results. You will also be expected to use a variety of tactics ranging from high-level digital PR campaigns to using tactical PR to secure relevant coverage and backlinks.

Required skills:

  • Excellent level of communication
  • Experience of securing coverage in high profile publications
  • Adaptability
  • Knowledge of securing coverage and backlinks for previous clients
  • Experience working in a similar role (either in an agency or in-house capacity)
  • Knowledge of using media databases (Roxhill, Cision, Gorkana or similar)
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Someone who can work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Demonstration of previous successful link earning campaign involvement

Core responsibilities

  • Outreaching to a range of media titles
  • Using media databases to create targeted media lists to relevant publications
  • Idea-generation and brainstorm
  • Developing and maintaining a knowledge of the media landscape
  • Newsjacking and turn around comments to press in a timely manner
  • Building new and on-going relationships with key stakeholders at relevant media publications
  • Supporting the development of new processes within the team
