Awards: CreativeRace and Asda win Best Retail Campaign at the Prolific North Marketing Awards

On Thursday 25th November 2021, CreativeRace was named Best Retail Campaign winner at the Prolific North Marketing Awards for our work on Asda’s sustainable store initiative.
 
Getting customers to change the shopping habits of a lifetime was never going to be easy. People think they are helpless in the face of a huge problem like climate change. But by wrapping such ground-breaking initiatives as choosing loose produce and less packaging, under a banner of Let’s Cut Out Waste, we helped make the daunting seem doable.
 
With a humorous but supportive tone and an eye-catching design style, our campaign achieved a 4% increase in penetration according to Kantar data, while sales in the store’s refill zone are already 20% ahead of target.
 
The really good news is that following the success of the trial, Asda now plan to roll out this initiative across more stores nationwide. We’re really proud to have worked with Asda on this project and congratulations to everyone involved in its success.
